The Port Broughton Heritage Centre, locaed in the original Port Broughton School, it was opened in 1993. The Heritage Centre was designed to display the recordings of the past for the benefit of future generations. 

 

The very down to earth "lived with", hands-on centre contains many historical papers, photos, articles and a beautiful "Plangon" doll collection. The collections are housed in several rooms with the themes of: tools; the community; ladies; boats; kitchen and dining; school, war and hospital; and dolls
